Since
then we have grown side by side with the market's needs and
demands. Our growth led to the building of a 36,000 feet warehouse
in 1988. In 1994 the warehouse was moved again to a larger facility
(66,000 feet). We have also expanded our service throughout the
island by establishing another store in Hatillo in 1990. In 1999 Acha Trading Co. ceased
its direct involvement in projects as a subcontractor leaving space for the small subcontractors to grow. From then on
our corporation dedicated all its business to the distribution of
construction materials.
Today
our corporation has maintained its steady progress and in september 2001, we inaugurated
a 110,000 sq
ft
warehouse, and the new facilities for our main office, located in Cataņo.
As any
company with expansion ideas, we are evaluating strategic alliances,
acquisitions and new store locations for the near future. We are currently
building a store in Mayaguez, which will be opening in the beginning of
2004.

Trading has become the leader in the distribution of construction
materials in the island of Puerto Rico. It has maintained very high standards by carrying high quality and exclusive lines of
construction products. This has made it a very renowned distributor in and
out of Puerto Rico.
